Copper Bottle

Art of Vedas

The Copper Bottle is a traditional Ayurvedic wellness vessel used for storing and drinking water according to the ancient practice of Tamra Jal (copper-charged water), described in classical Ayurvedic texts. According to classical tradition, water stored overnight in a copper vessel absorbs the natural properties of copper, which are described in Ayurveda as Tridoshic-balancing, particularly beneficial for Kapha and Pitta conditions, and supportive of digestion and overall vitality when consumed first thing in the morning.

Key Features

  • Pure food-grade copper — handcrafted from high-quality copper; no inner lining; allows full copper-water contact for traditional Tamra Jal preparation
  • Leak-proof lid — suitable for daily use at home and for travel
  • Capacity — typically 950ml–1 litre; suitable for a full morning portion
  • Care — hand wash with lemon juice and salt; do not use in dishwasher; store empty when not in use

How to Use (Tamra Jal / Copper Water)

Fill the copper bottle with clean drinking water each evening. Store at room temperature overnight for a minimum of 6–8 hours. In the morning, drink 1–2 glasses of the copper-charged water on an empty stomach as part of your daily Dinacharya (Ayurvedic morning routine). Do not store acidic drinks, juices, or milk in the copper bottle.

For food and beverage use only. Hand wash only. Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner before beginning a regular Tamra Jal practice if you have a medical condition.
