The Copper Tongue Cleaner with Double Handle is a traditional Ayurvedic Dinacharya (daily self-care) tool crafted from pure copper, featuring a double-grip handle design for added comfort and control during use. Tongue scraping (Jivha Prakshalana) is one of the foundational morning practices described in classical Ayurvedic texts including the Ashtanga Hridayam, traditionally performed to remove overnight Ama (accumulated toxins) from the tongue and support healthy digestion and oral hygiene.
Why Copper
Copper is traditionally described in Ayurveda as having natural antibacterial and purifying properties, making it the preferred material for tongue scrapers in classical Ayurvedic oral care practice.
How to Use
Each morning before brushing teeth, hold both handles and gently draw the scraper from the back of the tongue to the tip in 7–14 strokes. Rinse with water between strokes. Rinse mouth with water after completing. Clean the scraper with warm water and lemon juice regularly to preserve the copper finish.
For personal hygiene use. Not a medical device.
