Classical Indications
Amlapitta (Acid peptic disease), Vatharaktha (Gout), Vrana (Ulcers), Grahani (Sprue syndrome / malabsorption), Liver disorders, Unmada (Mental disorders), Anxiety
Dose
Snehapana: 25–100 ml on empty stomach in graduated doses. General internal use: 5–10 ml with warm milk.
Anupana
Snehapana: empty stomach, early morning. General: warm milk.
Safety & Precautions
- Assess Agni and Ama status before initiating Snehapana. Contraindicated in Kapha excess, obesity, impaired digestion.
- Not for self-medication. If adverse effects occur, discontinue and consult physician.
Storage
Below 25°C. Sealed. Solidification in cold is normal.
