Dashmoola Powder is a classical combination of the ten Ayurvedic roots (Dashamoola) — the Brihat Panchamoola (Bilva, Agnimantha, Shyonaka, Gambhari, Patala) and the Laghu Panchamoola (Shalaparni, Prishniparni, Bruhati, Kantakari, Gokshura). One of the most widely applied classical Vata-pacifying foundations.
Classical Indications
Vatahara (Vata-pacifying), Tridoshahara, Shwasa (respiratory conditions), Kasa (cough), Jwara (febrile presentations), Shotha (inflammation), Sutika roga (post-natal support), Vata-vyadhi musculoskeletal conditions. Used as base Choornam for Kashayam preparations and as supportive Anupana.
Dose
3 to 6 g twice daily with warm water, or as decoction (Kashayam) as directed by the prescribing physician.
Anupana
Warm water. Or used as Kashayam.
