Kansa Comb

An authentic Ayurvedic scalp tool crafted from kansa (copper–tin bronze). Used in Śīrṣa Abhyanga to gently stimulate scalp marma points, support micro-circulation, and promote a calm, cool head—especially helpful when pitta predominates. Suitable for daily self-care and professional treatments.

How to use

• Use on a dry scalp or with a few drops of Art of Vedas hair oil (e.g., Neelibhringadi or Sesame).

• Comb from hairline to nape, then temples to crown and behind the ears; light, slow strokes.

• 2–5 minutes, or as advised by your Ayurvedic practitioner.

Care
Wipe clean after use; wash occasionally with mild soap and dry thoroughly. A natural patina may develop on Kansa. For external use only. Avoid on irritated, broken, or infected skin. Use gentle pressure; not a detangler for tight knots.
